BlogHer: Martha, Katie, Soledad And Female Domination
I’m back at Huff Publish after a three-week blogging hiatus. It was a present I gave myself.
During my three-week blogging break, I had an opportunity to relax, unWINE unwind and rest my brain so that I can continue to add worth to the running a blog community. It is no easy feat to manage an engaged audience as smart as YOU and constantly provide contemporary, captivating content. So as to take action, this mama needs to engage in stimulating actions, such as reading Fifty Shades Of Grey Battle and Peace.
So… I relaxed by the lake.
I watched my kids play happily on the seaside in Maine.
I worked. Too much actually.
I went on just a few dates with my hubby.
And then…. BloghHer!
What is BlogHer, you might ask Well, it is three days of magic. There is absolutely no other method to explain BlogHer as anyting aside from magical.
I quote Huffington Submit blogger Darryle Pollack, whom I truly met at stone island junior jakks BlogHer this weekend in New York, and her article. This is what makes BlogHer so distinctive…
Created in 2005 by three girls as a gathering for girls who blogged, BlogHer has multiplied in dimension — and importance — every year since. Now a successful website, advertising network and Tv channel the annual BlogHer conference is the jewel in the crown — where bloggers, marketers and sponsors come to Stone Island Jackets connect. 4 smaller conferences have additionally blossomed from it.
Twitter, blogs and social media channels have been buzzing about BlogHer for weeks. There’s advice, lists of tips– even lists of the lists of tips.
So, why such a big deal about BlogHer
I am unable to inform you.
Severely. There’s something for everybody, so BlogHer means various things to different people…
In a world where the Kardashians are the gold commonplace of success, for me, BlogHer represents a kernel of actuality, a source of inspiration and an island of sanity where individuals are appreciated not for what they appear like or what they have, however for who they are. Sometimes that appears like a rare thing.
And for me that’s a giant deal. Perhaps Martha Stewart and Katie Couric (speakers at Blogher) understand the facility of that, too.” -Darryle Pollack
So, to provide you with a recap of my previous three days, I blog to you in photo. I apologize the for less-than-adequate quality on most of the pictures. New York City – considered one of my favorites in the world
And if that does not give you the vibe, this has got to be the very best TWEET I’ve seen on Twitter. 😉
– I’m extra unbiased than I believed I used to be. This has served me properly.
– Despite being more independent, I am nothing without my family, namely my role as wife and mother.
– For those who at all times stay OPEN, good issues come.
– If you are cool going wherever alone, good issues come again.
– For those who plant enough seeds, eventually something sticks.
– I realized that not all women are catty. No less than not those I’ve allowed into my life. Give and also you shall obtain mates for all times.
– Work exhausting, but play exhausting too. Passion is the place to dwell.
– Success comes from following your desires. I learn on Twitter this morning, “If you do not follow your dreams, you will work for somebody who did. Discover time to make your ardour a reality.” Amen to that.
