I am in the process of
being treated by the VA for PTSD. Unfortunately, I served all over
Vietnam with many different units and my memories just aren't what they
want them to be. At some point they are going to want me to come up with a
specific stressor, thier words, at this point I can't really remember most
of all the places and people I served with. So this time I am going to try
it this way. Any one that served with served with a signal unit in Chu
Lai, Can Tho. Da Nang, Bien Hoa and any small areas around those areas
please contact me at my home email address, it is
spcdogg@windstream.net I will
be happy to send you a picture or pictures of me back then and maybe some
of the folks I served with so I can try and figure out just what my
[stressor] is. I don't know what it is. But something happened and I need
to figure out what it was. I don't mean to drag up any old or bad memories
I just need some help and I am at or at the least almost at the end of my
rope. I have been searching for 15 years for someone that actually served
with me in Vietnam and so far no luck. All the names I have been able to
find and remember have all lead to dead ends. If there is even the
smallest chance that someone out ther may be able to help me , please
contact me. My name is Robert Warren, I was assigned to C Company, 40th
Signal Battalion, 1st Signal Brigade, Bien Hoa, RVN. Any help or leads
would be greatly appreciated. now, with all this being said, Welcome
Brother. |

My husband was part of the
69th Signal (photo), assigned to Heidleberg, Germany. While there he took
various medical, accident and horrible photos that left him suffering from
PTSD. The V.A. says they need "proof" of the photos he took. Who keeps
photos of 3 kids ran over by a drunk or of the Oct. 73 Reforagers when a
jet crashed into a MPV, killing soldiers and leaving bodies every
where.......the V.A. needs to see these if you've got proofs or know of my
husband Mike being there. Some kind of proof he was there and had to take
these photos. He lost a son while he was stationed there and had to
endure the responsibilities of his job of taking pictures of his fellow
soldiers in distress. Now the V.A. wants proof in order to take care of
him like they should. |

I am hoping to find any one that was assigned to Company D, 459th Signal

Tiger Infantry and Artillery Battery below the site... We installed and
operated TRC 24 Radio and Multi-channel communications.. No one could miss
our location as the fly swatter antennas was high and massive.... At times
we went to the HQ's of Company D, 459th Signal Battalion for supplies, on
the outskirts of Qui Nhon... Perhaps someone remembers me... So many years
has passed and my memory is fading... |

worked for a bank in Nashua, New Hampshire. He applied for a job with the
GSA and was given credit for the six years he spent in the Corp. John was

I was assigned to the 596th
Sig.Co. 63rd Sig.Bn attached to the 501st. 101st Airborne Div. Camp Eagle,
V.N. I was sent on an operation north of Quang Tri, I was told a few miles
from the DMZ AND Khe Sanh, it was a large area with nothing but, elephant
grass and rocks, and mountains, a river. It was about monsoon season when
we got there, a couple of so weeks later. There were a lot of units that
came later. But, we the first small point units came under a lot of
ground, rocket, and artillery fire. Always on alert for a ground attack
from the VC and NVA. The VA says since I didn't have a combat Mos or a
Purple Heart or no paper work of this assignment which they can't find. I
need to find someone that was there to. I'd all but, given up on my claim
for PTSD. I've almost given up on everything, but I can't let them win,
that easily. So, my Nam brothers that need the same type of verification.
Please, don't give up, because you help keep that little peace of me,
that's left. That's always screaming out for the justice, we all deserve.
For, we who went when we were called. May GOD keep his blessings upon the

I am looking for people who
were at Phu Bai, Camp Evans, and all over Da Nang. I was in the 37th Sig.
Bn., 327th Sig Co., and another which I don't recall. I worked TRC-24's,
TRC29's, and tropo gear at the above mentioned places. DEROSed to the
268th Sig Co., Ft Lewis. Any help on recollecting the units at Phu Bai and
Da Nang appreciated. Also interested in anyone who worked at the MARK-85
sites. Thank you, Rene A. Melendez |
