 HEPHZIBAH,
Ga. - Mr. Russell McCray Jr., beloved husband of Hyang Hui McCray, entered
into rest Thursday, July 21, 2005 at the Veterans Administration Hospital,
Downtown Division. Mr. McCray was a Civil Service employee at Ft. Gordon.
He was a member of the Barnes Ave. Baptist Church. He served in the United
States Army during the Vietnam, Desert Storm & Desert Shield. He was a
Mason, York and Scottish Rite, Prince Hall Mason and a Shriner. Funeral
services will be held at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Road Chapel on
Sunday, July 24, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. with Reverend Lee Yong Song
officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Full military
honors will be accorded by the ceremonial detachment of Fort Gordon.
Survivors include his sons, Russell McCray III and Clarence Donavan
McCray; mother, Victoria McCray; brothers, Henry Lyons, Freddie McCray,
Vincent McCray; sister, Ruth Ann McCray; sister-in-law and brother-in-law,
Denny and Haesuk Jones and family friend Kyung Suk Song.
