WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBILITY
If you need any special assistance, please inform Chuck Valen at kodiak_usvet67@comcast.net
as soon as possible, but not later than 1 September 2008.
The Augusta Marriott has a limited number of rooms that are wheelchair
accessible. The hotel has asked that persons requiring such a room make their
guest room reservations as early as possible.
A bus with wheelchair accessibility will be provided all day on Friday, 12
September 2008 for members requiring and registering for this support. The bus
will pick up full registered members at the Augusta Marriott Hotel on Friday
morning, and travel to Fort Gordon and return to the hotel that evening after
dinner at the Fort Gordon Club.
AIRPORTS
Augusta Airport (AGS) is served by two airlines, but we recommend you also
consider Columbia, SC, 70 minutes north, and Atlanta, GA, 2 ˝ hours west where
you may find cheaper fares. You would then need rental cars, but would have the
added convenience.
Please help us get the word out by telling at least two others of our reunion.
This is a great chance to renew friendships and share memories with new friends.
Thank you,
Pete Kind (LTG, USA – Ret.)
Chairman, 1st Signal Brigade Association
