267th Signal Company, 1967

Members of the 267th Signal Company, based in Bien Hoa, traveled down the Saigon River to Vung Tau in an LSU in early 1967, to run a 300-pair cable down VC Hill.  Although the heavy cable construction company was based in Bien Hoa, it typically deployed small groups to various locations for specific projects.  During 1966-67, the company was assigned to the 36th and 39th Signal Battalions.

These photos of the project were contributed by Rodney Ford, who participated in the project.  He was assigned to the 267th during his entire tour, and spent the last days of his tour in Lei Khe.  Rodney now lives in St Louis, MO.
